Hi, I'm Marta, a student and research assistant at PACS, with a passion for social justice and human rights.My academic interests are grounded in peace research, with a focus on how theory connects to lived realities. I'm particularly drawn to questions of intersectionality: how overlapping identities and systems of power shape people’s experiences of conflict and displacement.
Right now, I'm developing my MA thesis on gender and discriminatory migration policies in Italy, exploring how policy frameworks can perpetuate inequality and what a more just approach might look like.
Beyond academia, I've volunteered with NGOs focused on refugee assistance. Going forward, I hope to keep building bridges between research and practice, whether in the migration field, gender justice, or both.
